About Dr. Parks

Grace & Grit.
Healing & Hope.
Vision & Strategy.

I am Dr. Precious W. Parks—a woman of faith, a wife, a mother, a worshipper, and a leader with a calling to help people and organizations heal, grow, and walk in their God-given purpose. My journey has been anything but linear. From earning my GED at 18 to completing my doctorate, from the quiet challenges of motherhood to leading programs that transform communities, I’ve learned that pain can produce purpose and that resilience is built when we walk with God through every season.

Over the last two decades, I’ve served in education, ministry, and leadership—helping schools, nonprofits, and faith communities thrive. My life and work are rooted in my belief that transformation happens when grace and grit work together.

My Work

  • Author: My book When Hurt Helps, explores how the pain we carry can become the soil for our greatest victories—healing, forgiveness, purpose, vulnerability, and refinement. It’s both a personal journey and a tool for others seeking resilience.

  • Consultant & Coach: As a trusted consultant, I partner with schools, nonprofits, and leaders to design strategies, develop programs, and strengthen leadership.

  • Gospel Artist & Worship Leader: Through The Worship Practicum, I mentor worship leaders, train churches, and create spaces for authentic encounters with God through music and ministry.

  • Keynote Speaker: From conferences to churches to leadership retreats, I deliver engaging and practical messages that blend faith, lived experience, and vision for growth.

Why I Do It

Every role I step into—consultant, coach, author, speaker, worship leader—comes from the same core mission: to equip others with the tools, strategies, and encouragement they need for lasting transformation.

When you work with me, you’re not just getting a speaker, a strategist, or a coach—you’re getting a partner in your journey toward growth, healing, and impact.

This is my life’s work. Welcome to all things Precious Parks.
